Thursday Thought of the day

" We could be in a plane, two feet from crashing in the ocean, and you would say; at least we have those last two feet, we could still survive! " - Tina Emia

Optimism is always having a positive thought, a happy word, or a cheery smile. But is it good for children our age to always be happy? The above quote is from Tina Emia, she is reflecting on her teenage niece's amazing optimism. Some scientists say that children from the age of 11-17 should expierence several different extreme emotions during that duration of time in order to live a healthy adult life. But is it true? Should we always look on the bright side? Or not be afraid to venture into the darkness of other emotions?
